San Juan Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy shirts, pants, blouses, t-shirts, and other items of clothing.

San Juan Group's story

The communal bank group named San Juan was formed by female neighbors from the Encarnación city. They are in their 20th lending cycle from the women's committee, where all strive for a better quality of life for their families. Also, they are part of the poverty elimination program, where all strive to be able to overcome their poverty situation.

One of the members is Lucia, who makes a living selling clothing and is also a tailor. She mentions that her work has allowed her to help sustain her home and her family. She is a person who, despite daily difficulties, seeks a way to improve herself and keep working to give her love ones the best.

Lucia is requesting this loan to buy a variety of clothing to sell, such as shirts, pants, blouses, t-shirts, and other items of clothing. She is thankful for the opportunity she is receiving to keep working as she has been doing.

Note: In the picture, there is only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid the gathering of people because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
