Danaya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs to farm her field of chilli peppers.

Danaya Group's story

Awa, who is a housewife living in Mali, has been growing chilli peppers during the winter season for the past 20 years. She is married and mother to three children, two boys and a girl aged between 12 and 15 years old. One of the boys and the girl go to school. Her husband also practises farming in order to earn a living. Awa did not go to school.

She is borrowing from RMCR to be able to buy sufficient agricultural inputs (fertilizer, insecticide, and weed killer) to increase her profitability. She sells her chilli peppers wholesale and retail in her village. She hopes to become a significant producer of chilli peppers so she can satisfy customer demand and in particular provide for her children's needs. She has an estimated monthly profit of 16,895 FCFA.
