Dukoranumwete Tcb Group's story

Greetings from Rwanda! This is DUKORANUMWETE TCB, a group of entrepreneurs who own businesses varying from food production to retail. The group’s name translates “Working with zeal” in English

Jeannette (the one who raised her hand up) is 36-years-old married with three children, aged between three and 16 years; and is the group’s proud representative.

Jeannette sells sugarcanes in her community and has been running this business for the past 14 years. Jeannette has requested this loan to buy more sugarcanes to meet customer demand.

Jeannette hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to buy a Piece of land. In the future, Jeannette plans to see her business growing.

Jeannette, along with the other group members appreciate the lenders for permitting this opportunity to grow their businesses and better their lives for themselves and their family.

"Due to the global pandemic and measures taken place in social distancing, not all members were able to be in the group photo. There is a child in the group photo who came with her mother (a borrower) in the group meeting.
