This banc villageois was founded in December 2015 by a four close women who live in the same area. They have benefited from many loans already, and have had no difficulty repaying them. The women of the Darou Group work primarily in commerce.

Madam Ndéye Mariétou is the group representative. She can be found to the left with her hand raised. At 39 years old, she is married and the mother of one school-age daughter.

Ndéye Mariétou sells cosmetic products and secondhand clothing, which she purchases in local marketplaces and sells from home and on the side of the highway. She benefits from over 11 years of experience in this sector.

With her share of this new loan, Ndéye Mariétou plans to stock up on merchandise by purchasing 2 bundles of secondhand clothing and a variety of cosmetic products, which she will sell at a profit. She foresees no difficulty recouping her money.

With the revenue from her business Ndéye Mariétou hopes to increase her savings, manage her expenses, and strengthen her business.
