Marithza Benita's story

Marithza is a 58-year-old woman who earns a living growing cassava and selling milk and marketing cows for a good price. She has several years of experience in this source of income of hers and has the absolute support of her husband. She considers herself a strong, enterprising woman who adapts to change to continue improving her family's well-being.

She already has previous experience with the MiCrèdito loans with KIVA where, through this financing, she bought cows and food for them. Now she is requesting a new loan which she plans to use to buy farming supplies and cows in order to increase her livestock herd. In a not so distant future she intends to get new cows and market them in new markets.
