Kellen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a biodigester for her farm.

Kellen's story

Kellen’s parents bought the farm where she works a long time ago. They had been farmers their entire life and believed that Kellen and her brothers would look after and improve the field crops since agriculture is what makes the world alive.

Kellen knows that manure pollutes the planet and results in inadequate waste management. For this reason, she wants to invest in a Sistema.bio biodigester that will transform the manure from her seven cows into renewable clean energy (biogas) and an organic fertilizer (biol). Kellen will use the biogas for corn production and during the pasteurization process. The organic fertilizer will be applied to the forage crops instead of chemical fertilizers, which will take care of the soil and be better for the animals.

This loan represents 63% of the price of the biodigester. The remaining amount was paid by Kellen.
