Simbira Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on rice, flour, oil, and sugar, which will reinforce her starting capital.

Simbira Group's story

Madame Anne-Marie is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and oversees the Simbira group villageoise. She is married, 42 years old, and the mother of 11 children who are all in school. Her spouse is out of work.

She sells food products; she started this business 22 years ago with funding received from her income-generating activities. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which she was steadily growing. A new loan will allow her to stock up on rice, flour, oil, and sugar, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge in her business is tied to a lack of merchandise.

She would like to feed her family and for her children to continue their studies. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to owners of small businesses that don't have monetary value in the context of this global crisis due to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19.
