Baraka Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 2 bags of rice and 5 bottles of oil, which will reinforce her starting capital.

Baraka Group's story

Madame Wivine is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and oversees the Baraka group villageoise. She is married, 42 years old, and the mother of 9 children who are all in school. Her spouse is a trader.

She sells various food products and she began this business 7 years ago with startup funding received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which she was steadily growing. A new loan will allow her to stock up on 2 bags of rice and 5 bottles of oil and reinforce her starting capital. The challenge in her business is tied to a lack of customers.

She would like to develop her business in order to become a supplier to others. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to business owners that don't have monetary value in this global crisis due to COVID-19. The photo is only of the group leader because of COVID-19.
