A loan helped to do agriculture business.

Vet's story

Vet, a 33-year-old man, has been residing in the Memot district of the Tboung Khmum province. He was born into an agriculture family, and the farming business has been the main source of his income. Vet and his wife are trying very hard in raising their children and providing them a valued education. With his many years of experience, he is an expert on taking care of his rice and cassava crops and on ensuring abundant harvests each year, except for the year of a big flood. However, the way he does farming is still based on the traditional method.

Due to the rainy season, he has a lot of farm work to complete and he also needs additional capital to pay for his operating expenses. He has applied for a loan in the amount of 3,500,000 KHR to do agriculture business. With funds from Kiva lenders, he will be able to pay for plowing fees and labor costs to purchase fertilizers to care for his crops and raising some poultry. He is in the photo with his lovely child at his own house.

He aims to increase his land for farming and to push his children to continue studying at university.

He sends thanks to all lenders for supporting his agriculture farms.
