Coopa-Ugajoc Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and to install irrigation pipes.

Coopa-Ugajoc Group's story

Simon is 40 years old, married, and a father of two children. He is very concerned about the well-being of his children, so he always works harder to improve their living conditions.

Simon cultivates and sells rice for a living. He has 22 years of experience in this trade and works with two employees. Simon is constantly challenged during the dry season, but he manages to gradually expand his business. However, the lack of capital prevents him from reaching his sales targets, which slows his profit growth. For this reason, he is requesting a loan to buy fertilizers and to install irrigation pipes. This will help to increase his production and his sales. The profits that result from this loan will be used to pay his children’s school fees. Simon is participating in his 14th loan cycle with VisionFund Rwanda and he is the group leader of COOPA-UGAJOC.

Simon is deeply grateful to the Kiva lenders for funding this loan.
