Santa Luisa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chickens and pigs to raise.

Santa Luisa Group's story

The group named Primavera is in their 5th loan cycle with the Women's Committee program. They are from the city of Curuguaty, which is an area still in development. They are looking for a way to better themselves and get ahead.

One of them is Valeriana who makes her living raising and selling chickens and pigs. She mentions that through her modest work she helps to support her family. She sees herself as a self-sacrificing person who fights for her loved ones and doesn't give up in spite of her difficulties to read and write. She strives to continue improving.

She is requesting this loan so she can buy chickens and pigs to raise and in this way continue to work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but it is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo and avoid having a crowd of people in order to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
