Rosa Leonor's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy agricultural inputs, soil amendments, and fertilizer.

Rosa Leonor's story

Through the help she received, Rosa, an older rural adult woman, lives in the community of Taya with her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren in a modest little house that she managed to get with a lot of effort through years of hard work farming and cleaning people's houses and doing their laundry.

Some years ago, little by little she left off doing houses and laundry because of illnesses she had from that very work. She decided to work full-time on her crops and raising small animals, which enables her to earn enough income to support herself and contribute to the household.

Because of the pandemic, Rosa had to sell her animals and spend part of the working capital for her crops to cover her needs, so she doesn't have the resources to keep her crop healthy and free of pests, so she's requesting some help to buy agricultural inputs, soil amendments, and fertilizer.

She hopes the harvest of her crop will be good.
