Mohamed's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to rebuild and keep the operation of my business during the pandemic crisis.

Mohamed's story

My name is Mohamed. I own a small business inside Bay-fair mall San Leandro. It is a cell phone accessories business kiosk that I started on June 1, 2016. I worked 7 days a week from 10AM to 9PM without taking any days off. I have a child and wife that are dependent on me. My son is 4 and a half years old. I have been working seven days without spending time seeing him grow up. For the past 4 years this business has been my main source of income. i bought this business from a third party which cost around forty thousand dollars. Ever since the pandemic began in the month of March 2020, my financial support from the business has been completely cutoff. On top of that my business was looted by random people on June 1, 2020. I lost everything and I was mentally disturbed. I notified my business insurance company which I had since the start of my business and they said they cannot cover the damage but only cover for liability. I emailed mall management about the property damage but they said they can't help us. I am so stressed out mentally and financially. I have no savings and whatever I have established in the last 4 years has gone. I am so scared to go back and restart the business again. I am hoping you can help.
