Maria Angelita's story

María is 57 years old and lives with her partner and a 26-year-old son. She never imagined living through a pandemic like this. She is worried because she is is a vulnerable person. She asks God to allow her to survive this virus that has affected so many families as well as the economies of countries, especially the small producers who work only on their small plots to live.

María has farmed all her life. Through the highs and the lows she has known how to move forward. She currently has two crops of potatoes planted at different times. She is afraid a plague of parasites will affect her crop. So that this doesn't happen she has to incur great costs for agricultural supplies to fumigate and care for her crop.

For that reason she is seeking a loan. It will help her with these costs. María hopes to have a good harvest. From there she wants to buy dairy cattle in order to have the income necessary to continue through this pandemic.
