Grace's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farming inputs, such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizer, to boost the quality of produce for this ever-smiling mum.

Grace's story

Farming plays a pivotal role in the welfare of Grace’s family. It supports the education of her children and ensures her family does not sink in the dregs of poverty.

Grace’s dream has always been to live a comfortable life. She is a smallholder farmer who works with a lot of care and perseverance to achieve her objective. Her childhood was very challenging and because of this, she promised herself that she would work hard to get out of poverty.

In her village, Grace is one of the most respected women. For many years now, she has been a crop and dairy farmer, which enables her to comfortably pay school fees for her children.

Grace is seeking a 60,000 KES loan, which she will use to pay for farm inputs to grow more crops on the farm. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited-available resources to expand in the farming business.

With your help, Grace will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be invested back into the business to fuel growth, as she wants to set a good example and build a foundation for her children.

To others, this might just be a mere loan, but to Grace, it’s the biggest opportunity she will have this year to change her life.
