Cintia Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase corn, salt, lime powder, pork, rice, tomatoes, onions, bundles of sweets, cheese, cinnamon and leaves.

Cintia Del Carmen's story

Cintia is a very responsible, friendly, honest, and of course enthusiastic merchant. For years, she has worked making and selling sweet tamales from Monday to Friday and selling Nicaraguan tamales on the weekends with the help of her mother and spouse.

She has already had a loan from Kiva in partnership with MiCrédito where, through this financial support, she purchased raw material for her business. At this time, she wants to strengthen it, so once again she has chosen the loans from these two organizations to purchase corn, salt, lime powder, pork, rice, tomatoes, onions, bundles of sweets, cheese, cinnamon and leaves. In the future, she plans to have more varieties of products made from corn.
