A loan helped to buy clothes.

Maria Concepcion's story

Maria is 58 years old, is married, and has four children, all of whom are independent adults. Her husband is a fisherman. They live in Jaramijo, a town of beautiful beaches and hardworking people who live off the sea. The town has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

She is a hardworking woman who likes to work and help her husband with household expenses. To do this, she has sold clothing for many years (blouses, pants, dresses, leggings, underwear, skirts, and shirts, among others). She goes out on weekends and has regular customers. She sells on credit and collects bi-weekly or monthly. The pandemic caused her sales to decrease but, little by little, business is picking up again and she hopes to make more sales.

She will use the loan to buy clothes. She wishes to enjoy good health and see her business grow.
