Jefferson Alexi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in the maintenance of his boat and to purchase fuel.

Jefferson Alexi's story

Jefferson is 24 years old, single, and lives with his parents in the tourist-visited city of Jaramijó, which has been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jefferson from a young age has been fishing with his father since he works with him when there is fishing to be done. They fish at night and at dawn they go back to their house for a little break. For now he sells fish in the same beach to merchants and also to the owners of nearby restaurant. He does this 4 days a week, 5 hours a day. During the first two months of the health emergency, he did not go fishing due to restrictions that they had on the pier of his town. For several days now they have resumed their fishing activities although the sales are not as good as before.
The loan will be invested in the maintenance of the boat and in fuel. His hope is to have his own boat.
