Mayra María's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dresses, pants, underclothes and blouses, among other items.

Mayra María's story

Mayra is 30 years old and in a free union relationship. She has three children who are 4, 9 and 12 years old and are in school. Her partner is a fisherman. They live in the house of a relative in Jaramijo, a beautiful place where its residents are very humble and hard working and have been greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mayra is a very responsible and hard working woman who strives to obtain her own resources to support herself and her family. For this reason she started her own business four years ago selling clothing for children and adults.

In her spare time she goes out to sell her merchandise to her closest neighbors, friends and family members. She allows them to purchase on credit and collects payment biweekly, although with the pandemic sales have been low.

With this loan she will purchase dresses, pants, underclothing and blouses, among other items. Her hope is that her business will grow.
