Leonor Magdalena's story

Leonor is 50 years old. She is separated and has four adult children, two of whom live with her. They live in a rented house in the Jaramijo canton, a beautiful place where the residents are very humble and hard-working people and which has been very affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Leonor is a very responsible and hard-working woman who makes an effort every day to obtain her own resources and thus get ahead in life. To do this, she has had a restaurant for three years. She rents a space to be able to offer exquisite a la carte dishes, breakfasts, and lunches. In the evenings, she offers roasted meats. She works every day with the help of her daughter and a number of women, offering excellent service to the customers.

She closed her business during the first two months of the pandemic. It was very hard for her, since [her business] is the only sustenance for her and her family, But as things are improving, her restaurant has now opened it doors, even though the sales aren't what they were before. She doesn't lose hope that they will increase.

This loan is to stock up on groceries and maintain her facilities.

Her dreams are to have her own location and for her restaurant to continue growing progressively.
