Katiuska Vanessa's story

Katiuska is 24 years old and married with 2 children: an 8-year-old and a 10-month-old. Her husband is a fisherman, and they live in the canton of Jaramijo, a beautiful place whose inhabitants are very humble and hardworking people who have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Katiuska is a very responsible and hardworking woman who strives to make her own living. That is why, four years ago, she started her business selling clothes for both children and adults. In her free time, she goes out to offer her merchandise to her neighbors, friends and close relatives, allowing them to buy on credit with biweekly collections. Katiuska feels very grateful for the support she has been receiving through her loans because it allows her to work and thus improve her income.

This loan is for the purchase of dresses, pants, underwear, blouses and other items. Katiuska’s dream is to install a bazaar in her home so her business can progressively grow.
