Maritza Natividad's story

Maritza, 38, is married and has 3 children ages 14, 10, 7 and 2. They are all in school. Her husband is a fisherman. They live in the Canton of Jaramijo, a beautiful place where its inhabitants are very humble and hard-working people. The area has been greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Maritza is a very responsible and hard-working woman who strives to earn her own resources. That is why, 5 years ago, she started her business selling sheets and clothing for children and adults. In her free time, she goes out to sell her merchandise to her neighbors, friends, or closest relatives. She sells on credit with biweekly collections. Her sales dropped because of the pandemic, but she does not lose hope that they will increase.

This loan is to buy sheets, dresses, pants, underwear, and more. Her dreams are to have a place for her business to keep gradually growing.
