A loan helped to buy fabric, thread and lace to restart her workshop.

Antonia Idalinda's story

Antonia Idalinda is a widow and has four children, all of whom are independent adults. She lives in her own home. She lives in the parish of Charapotó, where agriculture and ranching are the primary economic activity. The people there are very humble and generous among themselves and also with strangers.
Antonia Idalinda works making clothing for women and children. She has a small workshop in her home where her customers come for her to make a variety of clothing. She also sells clothing from a catalogue, when it is requested.
Now she is not going out to sell nor are customers coming to her home because of the global crisis.
She has had financial difficulties as her customers have been unable to pay as they have been without work and others have passed away.
At the beginning the health crisis was very bad as she couldn't make sales or open her small sewing shop, but now little by little she is restarting.
With this new loan she will buy fabric, thread and lace to restart her workshop.
Her dream is to have good health and that her family won't get sick.
