A loan helped purchase groceries to continue making her delicious meals.

Ángela Ameliz's story

Ángela Ameliz is a widow who does not have children. She lives with one of her sisters in Charapotó, where agriculture and animal husbandry are the main industries, and the people are very kind and generous with everyone.

Ángela Ameliz has a restaurant in her house. She serves breakfast, lunch, and traditional meals a la carte. Her sister helps her in the kitchen, and they work everyday. Things were going very poorly at the start of the pandemic since she was forced to close her restaurant for two months and was unable to sell meals. However, little by little she has reopened her business.

She will use this new loan to purchase groceries so that she can continue to make her delicious meals. Her dreams are to continue in good health and for her business to pick back up.
