Rosario Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy catalog products like deodorants, lotions, shampoos, and clothes.

Rosario Del Carmen's story

Rosario Del Carmen is in a common-law relationship and has three children, all of whom are grown up and independent. Her partner sells pulses. They live in the area of Charapoto, where agriculture and ranching are the most important economic activities. The people who live there are very humble and generous towards each other and towards strangers.

Rosario Del Carmen works selling clothes from catalog and products of Avon and Yanbal (beauty items, cosmetics, perfumes and women's accessories). She sells door-to-door and she gets paid weekly. On Saturdays and Sundays, together with her partner, she sells fruit and pulses from a stall they have in the local market.

During this global crisis she faced economic hardships: her clients couldn't pay her because they had lost their jobs or had passed away. Still, her business of selling fruit and pulses helped her with her expenses, despite the fact that she was afraid of getting infected because of her advanced age.

With this new loan she will buy deodorants, lotions and shampoos according to her customers's requests, and she will continue with her business of selling clothes from catalog.

Her dream is that no one in her family get sick and that her business continue to grow.
