A loan helped to buy some sheep for resale.

Douroukhoto Group's story

Madame Hawa is the president of the group « DOUROUKHOTO » in the Socé language it signifies "to redouble effort". It is she who is in the photo. She is 36 years old and lives in Senegal. She is married and the mother of 6 children between 7 and 17 years old. Her husband is a teacher.

This loan is destined for a group of 23 women of whom Madame Hawa is the president. This loan is to be used to finance their activity of animal raising that they have done for many years. For her part, Madame Hawa plans to buy some sheep in the surrounding villages for resale in the daily markets.

The loan allows her to expand her business and to be able to satisfy her customers but also to improve her pens against theft in order to make more income to meet the needs of the family (health, education, food and clothing).

Her husband helps her a lot in her business because the profits allow him to take care of a part of the schooling of the children.

Indeed she is confronted sometimes with the theft of subjects.
