Pyapy Mbarete Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to refinance her debt and to buy a variety of clothes to sell.

Pyapy Mbarete Group's story

The group named “Pyapy Mbarete” was formed by several friends and neighbors from the city of Coronel Oviedo. They seek to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. The group is in its third loan cycle with the Women’s Committee Program.

One of the members is Sra. Natalia, who sells clothes as a traveling merchant. She defines herself as a selfless person who looks for ways to provide better living conditions for her loved ones so that they won’t be in need. Natalia says that her sales and income were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, she was not able to meet all of her obligations.

Natalia is requesting a loan to refinance her debt and to also buy a variety of clothes to sell. She is grateful for the opportunity she has received to continue her work and restart her business.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
