Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group called "Mujeres Unidas" [United Women] was formed by the union of friends and neighbors from the city of Caaguazú. They seek the way to be able to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their second loan cycle in the women's committee program. They are focused as a goal on being able to grow and move forward in order to be able to offer their loved ones everything that they were not able to have.

One of them is Lidia, who works in sales. She mentions that she has a modest grocery store in which she works every day from early in the morning. With this business she seeks the way to be able to offer her loved ones everything that she was not able to have. She is grateful for the opportunity that she is receiving to be able to move forward and offer her loved ones better living conditions than those she was able to have. She is grateful for the opportunity that she is receiving to be able to overcome her living situation, since due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her business has been affected and also her sales, but she seeks a way to be able to move forward.

She is requesting this loan to be able to invest it in the purchase of various products for her store. She wants to buy greens, fruits, baked goods, vegetables, canned goods, and other additional products in order to be able to continue with her sales as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. The group photo wasn't possible in order to avoid a crowd of people because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
