but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy plants, planters, fertilizers, and other products.

Sagrado Corazon Group's story

The group named “Sagrado Corazon” (Sacred Heart) was formed by neighbors from the district of Caacupé. They are enterprising women who strive for a better quality of life for their families in order to avoid the same types of hardships that they had to go through.

One of these women is Sra. Salvadora, who works in retail. She says that she has a modest business of selling plants and that her work allows her to sustain her household and her family. Salvadora mentions that even though her work is humble, it gives her a way to provide for her loved ones so that they can avoid being in need. She is pleased to have the opportunity to continue working with her group because being a member has helped her to excel.

Salvadora is requesting a loan to buy plants, planters, fertilizers, and other products that she needs to continue her work as before.

Note: The photo shows only one person, even though this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid congregating during the COVID-19 pandemic.
