Tushe's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a cow and to make some repairs at the old house, damaged from the earthquake, where she lives with her extended family, including two little grandchildren.

Tushe's story

Tushe is a 55-year-old woman from a coastal village in Lac city. She is married and the mother of five adult children. Her oldest son is married and lives with his family at his parents' house.

Tushe's husband and oldest son fish for a living. They sell the fish at different restaurants near their village. This is a very difficult job that makes a very low income in Albania. Tushe wants to buy another cow so she could sell some diary products and provide an extra income for her family.

There are nine people living at Tushe's house: seven adults and her two little grandchildren. Tushe is hoping for a Kiva loan to also make some repairs at the old house, damaged from the earthquake, where she lives with her extended family, including two little grandchildren.
