Adriana Lisseth's story

Adriana Lisseth is 29 years old, is in a civil union, and has two children ages 2 and 6. The oldest child is studying in school, and her partner is a fisherman. Their family lives in Jaramijo, a beautiful port city popular with tourists. Most of Jaramijo's residents work in fishing, and the city has been severely affected by the global health crisis caused by COVID-19.

Adriana is very hardworking and supports her spouse in paying for household expenses and their children's education. For four years, she has run a home-based business selling essentials such as biscuits, oil, rice in addition to miscellaneous products like creams, shampoo, and costume jewelry. Due to the pandemic, her sales have decreased significantly, and as a result her income has diminished as well. However, Adriana is confident that with this loan, she will be able to reopen her business and improve her family's economic situation. She will use the loan to buy products, and her long-term dream is to expand her store and stock new products.
