Ana Lilibeth's story

Ana Lilibeth, 25, is in a common-law marriage and from this relationship she has two children of ages six and three years. Her oldest child goes to school. Her spouse is a fisherman. They live in Jaramijó, a city of tourism with an important fishing port where its people work very hard and make a living mainly from fishing and storekeeping. This place has been greatly affected by the sanitary emergency caused by COVID-19.

She is a responsible and enterprising woman who works so that she can earn income and support her spouse in covering the household expenses. She started a business two years ago from her home selling beverages, soft drinks, bottled water and some provisions. Due to the pandemic, the sales went down and her spouse was not able to work for four months, which created financial problems. She was also emotionally affected as her granddad died as a result of the covid 19.

This loan is to purchase provisions, bottled water and more for her business. Her dream is to have a better range of products in her store in order to improve the income.
