Dayanna Maylin's story

Dayanna Maylin, 20, is in a common-law marriage and from this relationship she has a two-year-old child. Her spouse is a fisherman. They live in Jaramijó, a city of tourism with an important fishing port where its people work very hard and make a living mainly in fishing and storekeeping. This place has been greatly affected by the sanitary emergency caused by COVID-19.

She is an enterprising woman who likes to earn her own income so that she can support her spouse in covering the household expenses, and started up a business a year ago selling soft drinks from her home. She is very grateful to God because nobody in her family has been ill during the pandemic, and the sales from her small store have continued. With this loan, she is looking to strengthen her business to keep improving the income.

She will invest the loan in the purchase of soft drinks. Her dream is to see her business grow.
