Carmita De Las Dolores's story

Carmita De Las Dolores and her family live in Picoaza, a place known for being a very commercial area. Its hardworking people work in commerce. They have been quite affected by the consequences caused by Covid-19.

Carmita is a woman who seeks a way to make a living through her work. Before the pandemic she had a place at the shore where she sold delicious lunches and items from a menu, such as empanadas made with plantains and cheese, and other snacks. However, during the pandemic she couldn't run her business, and closed it until further notice.

Carmita now sells from her house for carry out or home delivery. She sells very little, and what she earns only covers food expenses. She hopes things improve so she can pay off her debts. She will use this loan to buy rice, meat, fish and other ingredients to prepare food.
