Ofelia Margarita's story

Ofelia Margarita is married and has three children, all of whom are grown. Her husband is a merchant. They live in Jaramijo, a heavily visited tourist city with a beautiful fishing port. The majority of its residents work in fishing. It has been quite affected by the health emergency caused by Covid-19.

Ofelia is a very hardworking woman who likes to help her husband with the household expenses. For that reason she set up an eatery at her house some years ago where her customers come to be served exquisite dishes that Ofelia herself prepares. She also has a family business selling fish.

Because of the pandemic Ofelia couldn't work. This affected her finances, as her earnings diminished. With this loan she hopes to reactivate her business in order to continue working. This loan is to buy products for her business, such as fish, rice, chicken, and other things. Ofelia's dream is to have a well equipped restaurant in her house.
