Kitagwenda Head Teachers Association Group's story

Winfred is a member of Kitagwenda Head Teachers Association, where members guarantee each other to access financial services. She is a very hardworking woman and a teacher by profession. She has been in service for the last 5 years and loves her job.

She also supplements her income with coffee growing and trading, which enables her to raise school fees for her children as a single mother. She is, however, affected by the Covid -19 pandemic, whereby schools are closed. And so, she receives delayed income that affects her plans. Winfred is requesting Kiva to support her with a loan of 350,000 Ugandan shillings to buy mulching materials for her coffee plantation.
