01_Koutane Group's story

This banc villageois, set up in December 2014, brings together these eight women who come from the same neighborhood and maintain good relations. They have benefited from several successfully repaid loans. Their main business activity is commerce.
Mrs. Rokhaya, the 35-year-old representative, is on the right of the photo with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of seven children including two boys.
Mrs. Rokhaya leads a poultry farming business and a small trade in various items. She gets her supplies in the markets of the city and works at home. She capitalizes on a few years of experience in poultry farming and in the trade sector.
With her loan, she intends to buy 150 chicks, bags of poultry feed for her farm, and pay for the vaccines. She will also procure fabrics (wax, khartoum, veil, etc.) and provide transport. She is doing well without difficulty.
With her profits, she increases her savings, contributes to family expenses and strengthens her business.
