A loan helped to buy cows and sheep to increase her livestock headcount.

Minara's story

Minara has successfully repaid her previous loan, and is grateful to Kiva and to all who helped her with that financing. Her farm presently consists of 14 cows, 12 sheep, 12 horses, and a one-hectare plot of land on which she grows sainfoin (a forage legume) and sweet corn.

In order to develop her business further, Minara has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS). With this loan, she will buy cows and sheep to increase her livestock headcount. Minara Is planning to put the income generated by the loan into further building up her business and into improving her family's living conditions.
