Victor Manuel's story

Victor Manuel is 21 years old. He is single and does not have children. He lives with his father in the Montecristi canton, located in the Manabi province, a place of friendly people.

Its residents are craftspeople, who are well recognised throughout the world for the production of Panama hats. The city has also been ravaged by the terrible pandemic caused by Covid-19.

Victor Manuel is a hardworking young man, who has always liked helping his father. He has been working as a carpenter for six years. He makes living room furniture, wardrobes, beds, dining room furniture as well as other items.

Before the pandemic, he was in high demand from his regular clients due to his excellent work, but now, due to the pandemic which is sweeping the country, his income has been affected. However, with the small amount of savings he had, he has managed to get through it and now wants to reactive his business.

Victor Manuel will use the loan to invest in the purchase of materials such as paint, fabric, foam etc for making furniture.

Victor Manuel's dream is for his business to prosper.
