Carmen Jaqueline is 53 years old, separated, and from the relationship she was in has 4 adult and independent children. They live in Manta, a lovely city known for its beaches and exquisite cuisine which has been greatly affected by COVID-19.

She is a determined woman who likes to earn her own financial resources and get ahead with her family. For this reason, for 2 years she has worked selling seafood, fish, shrimp, and octopus by the pound. She sells as a street vendor every day.

Due to the pandemic, she stopped selling because she was scared of getting infected. With the loan she will start up her business again. With the loan, she will purchase more fish, shrimp, and octopus. Her hope is to continue with her business and to get ahead.
