Maria Vicenta's story

Vicenta is 42 years old, married and from this relationship she has 5 children, 4 of them of legal age and the youngest one, age 8, attends to school. Her husband is a mason and they live in Montecristi, a beautiful city highly visited by tourists who love the creative handcrafts made in this place. Its people is very humble and kind, and most of them work in commerce. This city has been severely affected by COVID-19.

She is a hardworking woman who likes to support her husband and together get their family ahead. In order to do so, she established three years ago a small fast food business in her house. She sells wings, empanadas, sodas and other products.

Due to the pandemic, she was not able to continue working and this created a problem in her financial stability, since she no longer had the resources to cover their basic needs. Aside from that, her husband and her got sick with COVID-19. Fortunately, they had pretty mild symptoms and they are fully recovered. With this loan, they will venture in a new business, a sewing workshop.

This loan will be used to buy a sewing machine, fabrics and other supplies for her new activity. Her dream is to have a well-equipped sewing shop.
