Carmen Helena's story

Carmen, 53, is married with three children, all of whom are of adult age and living independently. Her husband is a civil servant. They live in Portoviejo, a hospitable city with very friendly and hardworking people who fight every day to get ahead. This city has been strongly affected by the public health emergency caused by Covid-19.

Carmen is a very hardworking woman who works to support her husband with the household expenses. For several years, she has been selling clothing door-to-door. She also sells takeaway food and raises chickens. Due to the pandemic, she has gone through a difficult situation because sales decreased in her business and she became ill with Covid-19, albeit with mild symptoms. Thank God, she managed to recover. With this loan, she will reactivate her business to keep working.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of small chickens, feed, and vitamins to raise them. Her dream is to get ahead with her business.
