Maria Isabel's story

Isabel is 58 years old and married. From her marriage she has three children who are grown and independent. Her husband is a farmer. They live in Portoviejo, a welcoming city with very friendly and hardworking people who strive every day to get ahead. This city was greatly affected by the health emergency caused by Covid-19.

Isabel is a woman who has always liked to work in order to help her husband and move forward together. She and he work together selling fruits and vegetables as street vendors. She also has set up her house to raise chickens and pigs. Once they have completed their growth cycle she butchers and sells them.

Because of the pandemic Isabel's sales declined a little. In addition, her husband is diabetic and got sick. With this loan she will strengthen her business in order to continue working.

This loan is to buy fruits and vegetables for her business. She will also buy some pigs. Isabel's dream is to continue working and to pay her debts.
