A loan helped a female business owner continue to move forward with her food business.
While growing up, I was always the one taking my mom's dishes outside and making mud cakes and pies, picking leaves from trees and pulling grass for greens and green beans, which led to a good discipline afterwards, however, I took the rules and moved right along. I would always make a colorful plate being sure it had all the four food groups on it. I knew as a young girl I had a knack for cooking and feeding the masses in some way. I love to entertain as well, from entertaining and cooking in the mud to cooking in the kitchen I was on point with my profession. Once I grew older things got more intense and I was always willing to try something new in the kitchen. I have five children who all had first hand experience with my cooking skills. To date I have nine grandchildren, once you realize the children are happy when eating, I knew I was on to something huge. I mean who doesn't want a plate full of scrumptious, tasty, delicious food? To this day I have many folks calling, stopping by and asking what'cha got cooking, because there is always some sort of food aroma. Being around a group of excited and hungry people keeps me motivated and cooking!
