Lidia Guillermina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy material to make masks (e.g., fabric, elastic, edging, thread) to sell.

Lidia Guillermina's story

Lidia Guillermina is 62 years old, is married, and has two adult children. Her husband does not work due to old age, and they live in Paján, which is a very productive area in the province of Manabí and where the residents are very kind and hard working. She is dedicated to growing coffee, rice, yucca, corn, etc. They area was very affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Lidia Guillermina is a responsible woman who has always been dedicated to taking care of her family. With efforts, she has taken her children forward thanks to her work and dedicated. For 40 years, she has made all types of clothing for women and men, and for some time she has belonged to an association through which she receives government contracts to make uniforms for students. In the pandemic, however, she has not had any work, so she started making face masks for her neighbors and friends. Her merchandise has been welcomed.

With the loan from the Fundación, Lidia Guillermina will invest in materials to make masks (e.g., fabric, elastic, edging, thread) that she can later sell. Her dream is to continue working to support her home.
