Anne's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy different varieties of cereals such as corn, beans, and rice to sell in the local market and generate a profit to support her family.

Anne's story

Anne, who is 30 years old and a mom of three school-going children, has been a farmer for more than a decade. This is her sole source of income. She has gained a lot of knowledge, skills, and experience, which is why other farmers seek advice from her about the best planting seasons, crop and animal diseases, and farming methods.

Anne lives with her husband, who is the apple of her eye, and her family in a remote village in Vihiga. Although she makes a profit from dairy and crop farming, she is not living comfortably and has always wanted to increase her income by selling cereals. Kenya's Eldoret area, one of the country's most populated regions, has a high demand for cereals.

Anne is requesting a loan to buy cereals to help satisfy the constantly rising demand. Thanks to her hard work and commitment, Anne is going to make the best of this opportunity to earn more income for her family. Her goal is to earn enough profit to repay this loan and pay her children's school fees.
