Lipooneng Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE-1 hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Lipooneng Group's story

Malikotsi is a 47-year-old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house, without access to electricity, with seven other family members, including five children. She relies on commercial farming and struggles with buying multiple fuels on an incompetent income.

She spends the most amount of her energy expenses on paraffin and gas, which cost up to LSL 140 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging. Malikotsi and the other member of the group in this village each bought the ACE-1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE-1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
