Vilma Mary's story

Vilma Mary is 51 years old and married, and 4 children resulted from this union, all now adults. Her husband is an artisan. They live in Manta, a beautiful and hospitable city visited by many tourists who enjoy its marvelous sights. Manta has been much affected by the health emergency caused by Covid19.

Vilma Mary is a very hard-working woman who likes to help her husband cover household expenses. To do this, some 12 years ago, she installed a clothes-making shop in her home, where she sews school and sports uniforms. Due to the pandemic, she has had to close her shop, since there are no classes or sports games. This has an affect on her family economy, and she has been obligated to alter her activity. Now, on weekends, she sells lunches and onion dishes for home delivery. With this loan, she hopes to strengthen her cooked food business.

This loan is for purchasing rice, yucca, and fish, among other items, needed for preparing the dishes she sells.

Her dream is to reopen her clothes-making business.
