A loan helped to buy fish.

Vicente Rafael's story

Vicente, 39, is in a common-law relationship. He has two children, ages 16 and 14. His wife is a merchant. They live in Jaramijo Canton, known as Caleta de Pescadores [Fishermen's Cove].

Vicente's a man who keeps working for the good of his family when faced with adversity. That's why he has worked for 12 years selling fish, which he does as a street vendor. But because of the health measures imposed by the government for fear of contagion, Vicente decided to make sales at home and only deliver on request. This has been very hard for him because his sales aren't what they were. He continues on, though, because that's how he knows to earn his living.

This loan is to buy fish.

His dream is that his children will have everything they need.
