Karina Del Rocio's story

Karina Del Rocio is a widow and has three adult children. They live in the canton of Jipijapa, known as the Coffee Sultana, where the people are very friendly and hard-working, but which has also suffered the ravages of the difficult pandemic caused by COVID-19.

Karina Del Rocio is a very strong and determined woman who, despite the hard times she has had to experience due to the loss of her spouse, has gotten ahead with her children. Karina Del Rocio works for a private company which offers cleaning services. Also, to generate other income, for some years she has worked selling products from Yanbal catalogs and shoes. During the lockdown, her sales dropped due to the restrictions. Now, she wants to reactivate her business gradually.

With the foundation's loan, Karina Del Rocio will invest in Yanbal products. Karina Del Rocio's dream is to have a profitable business and to get ahead with her children.
